The Taste of Santamamma

The cuisine, based on its own products, offers a wide variety of recipes handed down largely from family tradition. It is therefore the company's products that dictate the menu, which varies according to the seasons.\n\n![](/assets/img/SantaFood-8.jpg)\n\nDuring your stay, no matter how long, you will rarely eat the same dish twice and you will hardly forget the tastes when you go away. The company, which covers about 750 hectares, cultivates olive trees, citrus fruits, fruit and vegetables, and raises cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys and pigs.\n\nThe production of meat and cheese is linked to the livestock activity. In addition to the typical cheeses of the area, some cheeses developed by the patient experimentation of the cheesemakers that characterize the production in a unique way are produced in the dairy farm. The olive oil is produced in an oil mill that only grinds the olives produced on the farm and uses the traditional system with stone millstones and cold presses. The entire production is strictly organic.\n\nThere is no better occasion to rediscover the flavor of the meat of animals raised in the wild, the delicate taste of hill oil, the unique flavors of cheeses, home-made bread baked in a wood oven, freshly picked vegetables, jams prepared with fruit grown on the farm, sauces, mushrooms, homemade pasta and much more.
